Major Traffic Collision Under Bridge in Napa Leaves One Seriously Injured
A serious traffic collision occurred under the bridge at Big Ranch Road and Oak Knoll Avenue in Napa on September 1, 2024, at approximately 2:08 PM. Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene, where they found a vehicle had veered off the road and plummeted 30 feet down an embankment.
The incident resulted in significant damage, including two feet of concrete being damaged. The driver, whose identity has not been released, sustained major injuries and was transported to Queen of the Valley Hospital for urgent medical care. Authorities are currently investigating the ownership of the damaged bridge and coordinating with the county for further assessments.
