Multi-Vehicle Collision on US101 North Near Holly Street Leaves Several Injured
A serious traffic collision involving three vehicles occurred late Tuesday night on northbound US101 near the Holly Street on-ramp. The incident, reported at 11:02 PM on August 27, 2024, resulted in significant injuries and required extensive emergency response efforts.
According to initial reports, the collision involved a black Toyota Prius and a black Honda Civic, both of which sustained major front-end damage. Emergency responders, including units from the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office and local fire departments, were dispatched to the scene. One individual was found awake but unresponsive with head injuries and was promptly attended to by medical personnel.
The crash led to the closure of lanes 4 and 5, causing significant traffic disruptions. Tow trucks from Action Tow and Atlas/Advanced Tow were called to remove the damaged vehicles.
